March 2, 2011 - World Champs Oslo

I was bummed out to trip up in the skate sprint in my quarterfinal. However, overall the experience of world championships in the birthplace of skiing where my sport is beyond loved has been really cool. My classic 10km was unfortunately my worst in the past few weeks so in putting the best team forward for Canada for the team sprint Dasha and Perianne were selected. I still have lots of season left with a 4x5 km relay and 30km skate here, Lahti world cups next weekend and then home to Canmore for the last three races of Nationals. I'm cheering like crazy for my teammates and really excited for Devon's continued great racing.
